This picture shows the Atlantic Region of Canada in green
Atlantic Canada has lots of different features. For one, it's ecozone covers 2% of Canada's area. It also contains a portion of the appalachian highlands along with the appalachian trail. This area also includes the Gaspe Penninsula, which sepatarates Quebec from New Brunswick. It's rocky shoreline is 11,200 km-long, and it's right next to the huge Atlantic Ocean, where it gets it's name. Not to mention it's shore is dotted with lighthouses all over to keep boats from crashing into shores.
